Get started
Set up your account, calendar and privacy details, then publish your first booking link and try a test booking.
You need a Google account with a calendar you can write to, and a privacy policy for your business. You can set up a booking link on Free.
1. Set up your account and workspace
Open Calberry and register or sign in. Follow the sign-in instructions and enter your name and time zone. Your workspace holds your booking links, contacts and settings. Choose its name and booking address during setup.
If someone invited you, open their invitation and sign in with the email address it was sent to. You can then join their workspace instead of creating a separate one.
2. Connect Google Calendar
In setup, choose Connect Google and grant the requested calendar permissions. Pick a Calendar for new appointments that Calberry can write to. Under Calendars for conflict checks, include any calendars whose busy events should block bookings. Your appointment calendar is always included in conflict checks.
You can return to these settings from the workspace menu under Apps and integrations → Google Calendar. Set your Weekly hours under Availability. Check the host time zone under Workspace Settings → General before sharing your link.
3. Add your privacy details
During setup, fill in Data controller name and Your privacy policy URL. To change them later, open the workspace menu → Workspace Settings → Overview and find Privacy.
Use your own published privacy policy URL. New booking links cannot be published without it. Your policy needs to cover the booking and reminder services you use. See Data and privacy for the separate rules for follow-up and tracking.
4. Create and publish your first booking link
- Open Links and choose New.
- Choose One-on-one, then set the title, duration and meeting location.
- In the editor, check General settings, Availability and Booking questions in Form fields. New links use Calendar first: visitors choose a time before answering questions.
- Adjust Appearance and Booking copy if needed. Keep the required name and email fields. The phone requirement is configurable.
- Choose Save changes, then Publish in More actions.
- Use Copy link to share the published page.
For a complete tour, see Design your booking links.
5. Make a test booking
Open the saved, published link in the editor. In More actions, choose Make a test booking, then Open test booking page. Complete a booking in that separate page and check it under Meetings → Test bookings.
Test bookings do not create Google Calendar events, send notifications or trigger workspace webhooks. They do not count towards your monthly booking allowance. Use the dashboard-generated test link: the normal booking page and embed create real bookings.
When you are ready to check the actual calendar invitation, make a deliberate real booking using your own contact details. That booking uses your allowance and the link's configured communications.
